No cabe duda de que esta serie demuestra capitulo a capitulo el porque fue ganadora del Emmy en su categoria, vale mucho la pena.

Es curioso, pero me he dado una vuelta a foros de esa serie y cada quien hace conclusiones diferentes de lo que ve y lo que puede pasar en el futuro, eso es increible en un programa de TV pues nos pone a correr la imaginacion aparte de que resolviendo una interrogante, salen 2 o 3 nuevas y la serie no se hace aburrida para nada

Yo lo bajé de http://mininova.org lo pusieron el mismo día que salió.

A mi tambien me interesan los subs, de donde los bajaron? Si extraño los subtitulos de los DVD's por que se me escapan algunos diálogos, como por ejemplo en el segundo episodio algunos de Desmond, con su acento.

Is Lost a literary Enigma?
Literary references have been sprinkled throughout the mysteries of Lost: In an episode last season, the character Sawyer was reading Watership Down by Richard Adams, the story of rabbits searching for a safe place in a threatening world. At another point, he read Madeleine L'Engle's A Wrinkle in Time, about time travel.

Look for another literary reference - and possibly another clue to the island's secret - on tonight's Lost (ABC, 9 ET/PT).

At one point, someone will pick up a copy of the novel The Third Policeman by the late Irish writer Flann O'Brien. The cover will be seen for about a second, ABC confirms. (Related story: Lost in the details)

It will be featured at a "key moment" in the show, Craig Wright, who co-wrote the episode with Javier Grillo-Marxuach, told the Chicago Tribune. Wright also said anyone familiar with the book will "have a lot more ammunition" in dissecting Lost plotlines.

Following the bread-crumb trail of clues in Lost has become a passionate pastime, fueled further by a new season that has taken viewers down the hatch. In lost-tv.com's Literary Mysticism area, fans already are analyzing The Third Policeman.

So could this be a Rosetta stone for Lost?

Neither ABC nor the scriptwriters would comment on Policeman or its relation to the plot. But Amy Bauer, a music professor at the University of California-Irvine who helps organize the flood of postings on lost-tv.com, doesn't think so.

A clue such as Policeman is "offered a bit tongue-in-cheek," she says. "O'Brien was a brilliant comic writer, and his absurd take on the world may be a nod to the fans who connect every item in every scene to some overriding scheme."

In The Third Policeman, the narrator is a man who assists in a money-motivated killing. While trying to retrieve the stashed bounty, he passes into a strange world, meeting bicycles, policemen and a band of one-legged men.

Reviewers' reactions varied widely, calling the novel "warped," "silly," "baffling," "inventive" and "frightening."

Its surreal exploration of time, death and existence might be reflective of what's happening on Lost, says Chad Post of publisher Dalkey Archive Press, which is part of Illinois State University.

Speculation on The Third Policeman's cameo already has boosted sales. After the Tribune article appeared, Dalkey sold 8,000 copies in two days, says Post.

O'Brien, a pseudonym for Brian O'Nolan, finished writing the book in 1940, but it wasn't published until 1967, a year after his death. In two reissue printings during the past six years, the book sold 15,000 copies.

que el audio y el video van cada uno por su lado (generalmente el audio despues del video o algo así)...

por cierto, ya arreglaron este problema y está circulando en torrent y en la mulita las versiones nuevas.... para el sábado o domingo estarán los subs latinos.... por si alguien los consiguió que los mande a mi correo...je,je.... :wink:

ayer empezo la transmision de la primera temporada de esta serie por azteca 7 y la pasaron doblada al español, no se me hizo tan malo el doblaje, aunque prefiero los subtitulos como lo vemos en axn.
seguramente esta serie tendra muchisimos aficionados a ella.

Los torrents si los puedes conseguir el mismo día que sale al aire el capítulo, solo que los ponen ya como a las 11 de la noche. Por lo general los veo hasta el día siguiente. Esta bien que pasen la serie en televisión abierta, lo malo es que no es widescreen y esta doblada al español.

Un interesante reportaje de E! ONLINE que revela como esta serie esta influenciando la cultura popular....
(No lo lei en detalle ni lo voy a hacer... Solo vi unos parrafos por encimita... ya que creo que hay mas de un spoiler alli... y yo no he visto nada de la segunda temporada...)

"Lost" Numbers Lose Millions

Winning the lottery may have caused nothing but trouble for Lost's Hurley, but hordes of Powerball players were willing to take their chances.

Hundreds of lotto players in the multi-state drawing selected the Emmy-winning show's cursed digits--4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42--in the $340 million drawing Wednesday.

Unfortunately--or maybe fortunately, considering the damage they've done--the Lost numbers lost.

Eva Robelia, spokeswoman for the Wisconsin Lottery, says more than 840 people across five states played the TV-inspired numbers, including 266 hopeful Hurleys in New Hampshire.

"A lot of people are playing those numbers," Robelia told the Green Bay Press-Gazette. "There may be a couple of hundred in Wisconsin alone." Powerball is played in 27 states, plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Lost is the third-most watched show on television this season, averaging nearly 23 million viewers an episode.

The infamous digits first appeared on the ABC hit last season, when Jorge Garcia's Hugo "Hurley" Reyes used them to win the lottery. That is when his luck ran out.

The mysterious figures caused him nothing but grief--his grandfather died, his mother broke her ankle, their new house burnt down and he ultimately wound up on a certain doomed airliner. The digits subsequently turned up in other places, including the infamous hatch. This season, it was revealed that the sequence has to be entered into a computer every 108 minutes--or else the world will supposedly end.

Evidently, it was a fate gamblers were willing to deal with. But the crush of Lost fans would have proven incredibly unlucky if the numbers came up. Because so many had the same digits, the multimillion dollar jackpot would have been whittled down to just a few thousand bucks apiece.

Of course, the Lost numbers proved to be cursed in a different way--nobody who played them won. For the record the winning numbers were: 7, 21, 43, 44, 49 and 29.

According to lottery officials, the lone golden was sold in Jacksonville, Oregon, and the winner has yet to step forward and claim the hefty sum--roughly $110 million after taxes. The winnings mark the largest prize pool in the game's history and the second-largest haul in U.S. history.

"We advise them to get their 15 minutes of fame out of the way at a press conference, but it's up to the winners to decide what to do," Powerball spokesman Chuck Baumann said.

And our advice to the winner: Avoid uncharted islands with locked hatches. Just in case.

veamos....

en AXN ya terminó la primera temporada, están repitiendo capítulos y el estreno de la segunda será en Febrero del próximo año.

en el Hemisferio Norte, los que pueden chequear la señal de ABC van en el episodio 5 de la segunda temporada....

en lo que se refiere a producción, creo que ya están filmando el episodio 12.... aunque por el spoiler que salió en la web, se rumorea que volvieron a filmar el episodio 6 (por eso el retrazo de su emisión) y quién sabe si modificaron algo importante en la trama....

Pues creo que me saque el premio gordo, mi hermano fue a San Francisco recientemente y me trajo el pack de la 1a. temporada de esta serie de regalo por mi cumple. La verdad yo no le había hecho mucho caso a "Lost", incluso ahora que la pasan en TV Chichimeca, pero por todo lo que dicen parece que es un excelente show, así que a verla sin falta. Gracias broder 8).

¿Puedes confirmarme (de ser Z1) si tiene subtítulos en español?
Aún me niego a creer que no lo hayan incluído.
