Universal has announced the official release date for The Chronicles of Riddick which stars Vin Diesel, Thandie Newton, Judi Dench and Keith David. The hit David Twohy directed sequel, will be available to own from the 16th November in both rated and unrated director's cuts. Each will retail at around $29.98 a pop. Both of the discs will carry 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen transfers along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround, French Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks. I'm afraid we have no details on extra material yet, although we can confirm that the director's cut will include an additional seven minutes of footage. We'll bring you further details on this one, shortly. Stay tuned.

si a ultima hora le incluyen el dts si me la compro, de no ser asi me voy por la R4, a muchos no les gusto esta pelicula pero yo la encuentro entretenida y con muy buenos efectos especiales, en lo personal si me gustaria conseguirla

Ayer compré la Director's Cut y sólo tiene pista Dolby Digital 5.1 en inglés. No incluye el español y el francés como audio sino como subtítulos (muy bien por mí). Universal ha abandonado un poco el DTS en sus últimos estrenos. Ej. Chronicles of Riddick, Dawn of the Dead, Van Helsing. Todas merecían pista DTS. ¿Estará pensando en sacar una línea similar a las Superbit?
