Simpsons, The - In time for Episode III: Bart Wars
Fox has announced plans to release Bart Wars, a Star Wars themed release timed for the opening of Episode III (in theaters 5/19).
Big laughs come in one small package when four uproariously hilarious episodes from America's #1 TV family "The Simpsons" arrive in a special collection release. "THE SIMPSONS" BART WARS. Perfectly timed to the opening of Star Wars Episode 3 in theatres 5/21/05, "THE SIMPSONS" BART WARS features four episodes that reference the Star Wars franchise as well as a special featurette.
Episodes include:
Dog of Death (Season 3, Episode 19)
Marge Be Not Proud (Season 7, Episode 11)
The Secret War Of Lisa Simpson (Season 8, Episode 25)
Mayored To The Mob (Season 10, Episode 9)
The single disc will retail for $14.98 US ($16.98 CAN) on May 17. Expect full frame (1.33:1) video with English, Spanish and French Dolby Surround tracks (English/Spanish subtitles). A single bonus features rounds out the set: "The Making of Bart Wars: The Simpsons Strike Back." We'll have cover art when it's available.
We know it's not the season set people were hoping for, but Fox tells us that Season 6 will be released later in the year, and not the June date which was accidently posted to the FoxTVDVD.com website.
