MGM has announced its long-awaited, 2-disc Hoosiers: Collector's Edition for release on 3/8 (SRP $29.98). The disc will offer the film in anamorphic widescreen video (1.85:1) with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. Extra features will include audio commentary by director David Anspaugh and writer Angelo Pizzo, the Hoosier History: The Truth Behind the Legend documentary, deleted scenes (with introduction by Anspaugh and Pizzo), footage of the real Milan vs. Muncie 1954 Indiana High School Championship Game, a photo gallery and the film's original theatrical trailer. Man, I've been looking forward to this one for a long damn time
