Paramount Home Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release of Rango, the Industrial Light & Magic computer-animated film from director Gore Verbinski (The Pirates of the Caribbean) that earned more than $230 million at the worldwide box office earlier this year. Johnny Depp voices Rango, a chameleon who dreams of being a fearless hero and gets the opportunity to do just that when he inadvertently becomes the sheriff of a lawless desert town in the Wild West.
In addition to theatrical and extended versions of the film, the Blu-ray edition will offer a variety of special features:
Filmmakers Commentary: Director/co-writer/producer Gore Verbinski, head of story James Ward Byrkit, production designer Mark "Crash" McCreery, animation director Hal Hickel and visual effects supervisor Tim Alexander dissect the extended cut of the film
Breaking The Rules, Making Animation History: Discover how Gore Verbinski and Industrial Light & Magic prepared for their first animated movie by following every step the filmmakers made to create the film.
Part 1: The Stage Is Set
Part 2: Now We Ride
Real Creatures of Dirt: Animal experts talk about the real creatures that inspired the characters of Rango, while the filmmakers explain why they chose specific animals to reflect certain personality traits.
Storyboard Reel Picture-In-Picture: Enhance your movie-viewing experience by watching the theatrical cut of the film with picture-in-picture storyboards.
A Field Trip to Dirt: Using the technology and footage from ILM's special cameras, viewers are put in control of their own tour of Dirt. From there, users can select the streets they want to explore and the characters they'd like to interact with, discovering trivia and other bonus footage along the way.

Todavia no la veo pero me sorprende que la principal publicidad de la pelicula sea que Johnny Deep dobla a Rango siendo que tanto en España como en Mexico la mayoria la van a ver doblada.

A mi me gusto la pelicula, pero como para niños de 6 para abajo yo no se las pondria, esta muy oscura y violenta para lo que es.

El doblaje a mi si me gusto y esos acentos rancheros que usan son adecuados y me encanto la voz de Joaquin Cosio como la serpiente Jake.
Exacto. Es uno de los pequeños privilegios del doblaje mexicano.
Y lo escuché y grité "El Cochiloco"!

Simplemente por que a la Mayoría de la gente se le hace "un buen actor" Juanito digo Johnny Depp y ya han conocido la mayoría de sus Trabajos como Piratas del Caribe , El Jóven manos de Tijera, Swenney Todd, etc etc. Te imaginas si la publicidad dijera "Ricardo Tejedo en la voz de Rango" ¿Todos se quedarían A chingado y ese quién es? Eso pasaría por que a los actores de doblaje no se les da un reconocimiento, pero que no dijera que los mascabrothers,Eugenio Derbez , Ludwika Paleta, Marco Antonio Regilo Danna Paola por que Wow no manches hay que ir a Verla , Es por eso que se le acredita más a dicho actor .

Igual pasó con A Christmas Carol, que al menos ahí usaron tecnología en la que, hasta cierto punto, sí era como actor este... Jim Carrey (se me fue el nombre). Pero sí, el único caso en el que si funcionará al 100% será con la de El Gato con Botas, ya que Antonio Banderas seguirá doblándose a sí mismo (uy)
